Jennylynn,

Nice work on the tonal ranges.  Looks like it is more difficult to do in pen/ink, than in pencil.

Excellent job Jenny!  O0 Can't wait to do the farmhouse. I finally finished the first sheet, went to bed with a migraine!  These practice pieces are going to take me a while, I can't focus my eyes on them fore more than a few minutes at a time.  8)   I'm a-comin' !!  :run:      ;D
Cheers, Val

Ok, so I gave up trying to focus on all of the exercises.    Did these yesterday while recuperating my back after a rather 'boisterous' dinghy ride back from town. Gave me something to do while stuck in bed. Just a word of caution.... dip pens and ink wells are not the best idea when the studio is bouncing!  :2funny:   Couldn't get videos to run yesterday so this is done by my not so brilliant memory  ??? missed a few bits, but I think it's close enough.

Cheers, Val

Thanks Jenny, if I'd thought a bit before hand I should have looked at the others again!  :D    ;D   I scrubbed the bush at the side of the house in after I'd already done the wall, I see I missed the doorstep completely!
It was neat to watch the picture appear in such strong contrasts. Now I remember why I used to enjoy pen/ink so much! However...... I had forgotten how the nib could catch the paper and send a fine spray across the paper!  :heeha:

:2funny:   On to the next bit!  :yippee:

Val,

Nice pen and ink work.  You PnI people are very industrious.  Looks like way to much work for me.

Thank you Mea. It definately takes a bit more forethought when working with the ink, but I love the effect. Of course it does look much better when done properly!      ;D
