In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these  to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future.  Thanks

Thanks Denis, great lesson:)

Here is my sketch.  I'm not very happy with the tree trunk - is there a fix or should I try to fill it in?

Wow, Anita.  I like your pen and ink sketch!

You did well for a beginner pen and ink artist.

Very well done, Anita

My only worry is the "Y" trunk inside the tree - it is too symmetrical. You can rescue the drawing by closing up the right hand part of the "Y" and thinning down and tapering off the left hand one  O0

Here is my version of the exercise in Lesson 2 , did the drawing freehand as I need the practice , the house is a little wonky but will do better next time
as it was mainly for tonal value.

:welcome:  Glad to have you back, Helen. Nothing wrong with your sketch. Well done
My sketch was done freehand anyway O0  I'm more looking at the techniques used.

BTW I moved the post to here to keep it in the same thread.
