 :thankyou: MaryAnne, Dennis, and Val!

I just marvel at what I have been able to do with pencil and pen and ink drawings! Just imagine I never drew anything until I found Paint Basket!!!  The family was amazed when I did portraits of their 3 dogs this past year. It's unbelievable that I am such a late bloomer, 75 years old on Dec. 15th!
I appreciate being taught by Dennis and Nolan and for the joy I have found in drawing!!! :thankyou: :thankyou:  ~Liz

Wow, Liz, a Diamond Jubilee celebration.  Happy 75th birthday.  How exciting.

Celebrate in style.

:thankyou: I'm too old for celebrating anything except my grandkid's birthdays.  But the thing is when they get a year older, I get a year older, too!  Drats! :knuppel2: That's for 'getting old gracefully'!

Ryan wants to have a go with pen and ink this term and has done his chart and then the house freehand, so is coming along. Have commented on his very 'neat bushes' but he decided to leave them as is - not sure how you can give them a natural look after they have been pruned   ???

He prefers working with graphite but doesnt mind the effect of pen and ink. Will have him try a few different things this year.

Just joined the online lessons so thought would start on the Intro. Not as easy as it looks so great work everyone, plus my eyesight is getting bad for close up work  ie doing the lines. Don't need glasses yet but things get a bit fussy and i found my hand is not as steady as it used to be. Also Jillh and  Jennylynn i really like your sheets of pattern work

I have attached my boxes and barrels.

Haha i tried and tried to get my box the lie flat but it kept floating up, so i put my paper up to the screen on my tablet and used it like a light box to get the outline of Dennis' box  :2funny:
