hi all i have begun drawing my youngest daughter Lizzy , following the portrait drawing course. i posted a drawing of my older daughter last week and would be grateful for feedback on these eyes, before i go any further.  lizzy has a lot of Freckles (Kisses from the sun!!!)  as i refer to them!!!!. so that will b a challenge when i get to them. Nolan i haven't seen any lessons on this (Kisses from the sun!!!). may b you could give me a few tips!!! :help: :help: :smiley6600:

i am now going to post my reference pic of lizzy!!!

Brony, this is such a great likeness.  It's funny but sometimes the features look just right in a portrait but the essence is missing.  You have captured it all.  It is great as is.  If you wanted to fiddle, I would study some of the darker values like the eyebrows, the skin from the cheeks down and the darks in her hair. Stunning job for your first portrait!!!

Hi Brony.  I really love what you are doing for your daughters and your other drawing is just great.  On this one, a great start.  I might look at the curvature of the left eyebrow and the shape of that eye as well.  Your photo reference shows less of an arch and a downward slant to the top of the left eye.  Happy Drawing!!!

thanku lyn i see what u mean. will work on it. i havent really finish the eyebrows as yet. i have been working today on her nose so will post it for comments .
