This is lovely.  You are doing so well in pastels.

Check against the reference photo to be sure you have enough shadowy.

Keep going!!  Up and coming artist in the making!!!

Carey,

Better now, but still could use some more contrasts and textures.

Try to rough up the dirt in the front a bit.  (Nolan does a neat trick with just paint spatter from the brush, but I'm not sure how big your painting is, so you'd need to be really careful. Try of practice paper first.  Or try dragging dry brush strokes of several different earth tones over the spot. I've been studying a lot about texturizing!)

Shade the right wall of the house a bit more.

The grasses behind the house need to be darker in front, then lighten up as they recede.

Just little tweaks, but they will make a difference.
