Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. ~Winston Churchill

Hi Batman ....  You are a talented artist.  It takes some folks time to see that.  You hang in there .... look at all the things you did right and continue your journey.   You have what it takes .... keep showing that side of you.

All the very best to you and keep posting your beautiful creations.     :yippee:   :yippee:

I'm impressed-you did it!
You didn't get the results you want, but you have those initial first steps out of the way.  ;)

Thanks for all your support everyone.

I guess I wanted this to be the "easier path" in trying to sell myself. It's not something I am good at. It seems to come more naturally to some than others. Just going out and approaching galleries is not me. Oh well, I guess my storage space will just keep filling up for now...

I don't think this has ever been an easy process.  I've been reading (audio book) The Judgement of Paris by Ross King.  It's been quite the eye opener-a good read if you are inclined.  ;)

just do it Batman, once you have chatted to one or two galleries, you get into a routine and it becomes easier O0

Batman, I don't know how I missed this post but don't give up for you are a fantastic artist.  Besides, anyone who has never failed at anything has never done anything.  So don't let a little set back deter you, you have broken the ice, so to speak and now you can go ahead with confidence.

Batman, I give you  O0 for going out and entering the exhibition. Now get out there and talk to the galleries.
Stand in front of your mirror and say I can do it.

Besides they put their pants on the same way you do. They are just people.  ;D

Hmm. I may be a fantastic artist, but I am woeful as a salesman. Selling has never been my strong point.

I guess it's partially due to my personality - I hate people  / businesses etc that use the hard sell method, and so hate putting the hard sell on others. I guess you could say "do unto others."

Also, I don't have the gift of the gab.  And cold calling... :'(
