Thanks, Lisa and Mea!

Thankyou, Nolan. I can see how hatching would come in handy for different textures.

I finally got around to drawing my fish. It took me about 1hr.

Scumbling fits my style. I just get to scribble and scribble........It's like I get to return to my childhood. :heeha:

On the last fin (bottom right) I started playing with the transparency by showing a little bit of what was underneath. That was the most fun part of the whole drawing. :yippee:

awesome job Aaron :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Just darken the top fin where it meets the body to get that tonal value correct O0

Thanks, Nolan!

Here's the revised fish:

And also the barn.

I can already see a few things wrong with the barn. Especially the fence. I think I put the wires too close together making it appear too far away, and too close to the barn.

I enjoyed the sketching style with this barn. It's my goal to be able to go out into the countryside and create a sketch like this.

They look great Aaron, I really enjoyed both these drawings. I like the transparenty idea on the fish.  You have done something to make your trees behind the shed look further away than my did, looks good.

Hi again your fence has distance, the wire is well put. Nice barn.

The tree look farther because of the line under the tree. But that is a different look. D

Great texture Aaron

What I do suggest is just add a few more darker lines where the roof panels meet. Not too many, just here and there O0
