Tony, you must have nerves of steel.  I would never have the patience to draw (even digitally) that many straight lines.

You did well.

Gold star!

Thank you Mea!  Yeah, those straight lines were actually hand drawn! There were a couple where I used a straight edge across the iPad but, it's just as awkward to them that way. I tend to hold my breath when I draw those lines and, sometimes I have to repeat the same line 10 times! At least with digital it allows you to delete the previous attempts! I sometimes draw a line in sections joined up if it's too long or I can't draw it straight for the full length.
The hatchings were very testing and difficult to draw. Keeping them straight and evenly spaced really was the test of a steady hand!

No. By the time I get comfortable using a program they change it and move things on me. Besides...the whole layers thing is beyond me. I don't think dimensionally.

 :thankyou: Zilpa and  :thankyou: Danielle

I'll add colour at some stage to my York drawing but, for now it's been shelved as I'm busy honing further digital knowledge and skills.
I'm thinking of teaching beginners how to use Digital media to draw and paint. From beginners to intermediates via step-by-step, paid-for video lessons. (I'll start a new thread about it once I've made up my mind and after emailing Nolan about the idea).
In the mean-time, I'm setting out a A4 project that I'll share for free if I get it done before autumn ends! Hint: It's an illustrated recipe with a twist.

Sorry for the late Thank you Dennis. As a thank you back, I just had to spend the only free hour I had this morning doing a digital caricature type of drawing of.... you! I hope you don't mind!
