I was thinking about what Christmas meant to me. Of course there is the love of family and friends, but I think the most important thing about Christmas is in Matthew 1:23 which says Behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel which interpreted is God with us.
How awesome that is. That He is God with us. When we are born again we become part of God's family. In 1974 Jesus became my personal Lord and Savior. This was the greatest gift I could ever receive. That God loves us so much that He gave His son to die on the cross for us. So we could have eternal life. My Christmas wish us that everyone would know Him.
So I want to wish each if you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. Thank you Dennis and Nolan. I am very blessed to know all of you.

Away in a manger
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Lay down His sweet head
The stars
In the bright sky
Look down where lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing
The baby awakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying he makes
I love you Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle
'Til morning is night

Be near me Lord Jesus
I ask thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray
Bless all
The dear children
In thy tender care
And fit us for Heaven
To live with thee there

The Greatest Gift Of All !!

Merry Christmas  and a blessed New Year.

Many warm wishes to all for the New Year, and great blessings to our wonderful tutors and their families.  Thank you for an awesome year!
I was telling some of the tenants  about Paint Basket and all the wonderful friends I've made and how we connect thru the forum.  One of the ladies told me...You could stay in your apartment without ever leaving...You have a whole village looking after you!  I was overwhelmed,'s true!
Thank you, dear friends, Dennis and Nolan for being a special part of my life.
God Bless,

Christmas has come and gone and New Year is just around the corner. What a wonderful year it has been with all the ups and downs and all the fun and laughter  :2funny:
From us we just want to say that you guys and gals have just been tremendously awesome  :flowers:  You are the ones who actually make the Paint Basket what it is today. You are the ones who care for one another and bear one another up through the highs and the lows (Gal 6:2). The friendships that have been built up is just awesome. We love you for that O0
It is this kind of relationship that gives us the incentive to keep on keeping on ;) :thankyou:

Dennis,  :thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou: !!!

You and Nolan are such a blessing!  May all your kindness return to you multiplied times over!

It has done my heart so much good to see this website grow in leaps and bounds to the point that I can't possibly keep up to posting on all the threads.  It amazes me how you and Nolan just give and give and keep on giving.  I'm sure we have no idea how you must work tirelessly behind the scenes to provide the best website for learning art anywhere in the world.

:thankyou:  both again and may 2014 bring you blessings abundantly above all that you can ask or think!
