Thanks, Steven.  Thanks, Germa.

I'm still trying to get the light in the right places.  Need to work harder on that.

Thank you for your support of my Let's Draw efforts:

Lillian - Yes, I am enjoying the course.

Patricia - Yes, if you have art to do, you always have a friend with you.

Nolan - Pencil numbers were a total mystery until I started this course.  Now I feel quite comfortable using them.  Thank you so much for taking me to a higher level.

Thanks, Ray.  When I've shown the berries drawing to friends and family, they have a hard time believing I did it since they know I have struggled with drawing all my life.

It feels so good to be conquering an old foe!   Thanks for your supportive comments.

Yes, Liz.  I definitely needed to learn to crawl before I could walk!

You're talking about me, you know!  I should have started with drawing myself.  I do love pencil drawing more than I imagined and right now just want to paint a couple more dogs and other animals.  I'm waiting for the mail; I ordered some toned paper pads from Blick and more acrylic paints.  Only a box of canvases were delivered yesterday.
Happy New Year, Mary Anne!!!  God bless you real good!!!   :1hug:

Thanks, Liz.  Happy new year to you.

We'll have to get together once the golf tournament is over to compare our drawings first hand.

You, too, Denise.

Maybe we can meet at Ala Moana Beach park and do an "en plein air" drawing session.

So Denise ..... you wouldn't be going for the plein air experience, or the company of other artists? ..... You're going for the food!      :2funny:

Mea, you have launched on the most worthwhile venture! Enjoy. And take advantage of everything that is taught here. I started this class to improve my watercolor, and just fell in love with graphite. Which is so strange, because drawing was the one part of painting that I did not enjoy or feel at all confident in. Now I don't ever paint anymore. Oops!! But I hope you will love it. You are doing well!
Sarah
