So I didn't want to go 5 months again working on a project.  So I went 6.  I know, I need to buckle down.  Life has been too busy.  I couldn't get this to scan so I had to take a picture instead.  The mug is done completely freehand which will be obvious.  I'd like to do it again, but I've decided right now to move on to the bear.  I've already started.  Hoping for less than 5 months on the bear  :gl2:

Coffee must be pretty cold after six months.  Nice job!

Aloha, Brian!  If your coffee is still good, drop some ice in it- Iced Coffee! :2funny:

Just want to say to work at your own pace; you're your own boss and motivator.  I'm a retiree who doesn't keep track of what day it is, rarely can stick to any schedule; I do what I like and when I feel like it, and can't say I feel bad if everyone is passing me by.  Sometimes I wish I had more get up and go, but I really have too many interests as my excuse.

See 'ya around PB! :)

:thankyou: Mea & Liz.  I'd like to spend more time but with 2 kids and a busy ministry it is very hard.  I do enjoy learning a practicing though.

Okay, I've gone to the other extreme now.  From 6 months down to two weeks since my last drawing.  I must admit, I wasn't thrilled about cross hatching, but as I did the bear I really started to enjoy this technique.  My wife and kids think he is really cute.  I'm very pleased with how he turned out too.

Brian,

Good work on your cross-hatched bear.    He's a cute little fellow.
