beautiful job Barry :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

the difference between your drawing and mine is that my highlights are lighter than yours, and that may be because of the photo as I can see that paper in the background isn't white O0

Nice work, Harald.

How do you like the Staedler Lumograph pencils?  I bought some and am anxious to see how they compare to my treasured Tombow pencils.

Hi mea. I do not know the Tombow pencils, I looked it up on the net but they are not easy to get here. I use Faber castell, Derwent Craphic or Staedtler Mars Lumograph, all of them fine i think. Staedtler Mars seems to me to be darker and easier to get more contrasts?

Thanks, Harald.

I did a side-by-side comparison of Staedler and Tombow last night.  Will post it later.  Am off to Honolulu right now to hang an exhibit for the Association of Hawaii Artists.

Nice first go of a Dog Harold .  If you just give him an upper lip to his mouth it would help to not make his tongue seem to be coming out from under is nose.  but otherwise a fab drawing.

First try on a short hair dog. I have used Steadtler Mars Lumigraph.
