O0 Nice work on the landscape pieces, Diane. I especially like the tree. I struggled when I did that one.  You inspire me to go back to that lesson.  ;)

Diane,

Good to see you continuing with drawing practice.  It is so important.

One think I have learned is to blend in the outlined look of shapes - such as you have on some of the rocks.  It makes a big difference.  Otherwise, you are doing well.

Hang in there on the trees, Diane.  I had the same problem.  Now I practice them a lot - look at a tree and draw what you see.  I keep doing it and my trees look better and better.

Like how you put in different-shaped trees here. Don't forget their cast shadows on the ground.

You are building a really solid foundation here.

Diane, The house and trees drawing is very well executed
The second practice piece has a straight line for the stream that worries me. It should not be straight, but irregular to simulate the natural edge of a stream  O0

Mea & Dennis,
Thank you for your comments, it helps me see things and figure out little glitches that aren't right. I was trying to figure out what was wrong in the rocks drawing, I redid that stream so many times trying to get the natural curve but yes Dennis you are right it is way to straight and unatural. Also I think I need to remove the "hill" effect on that side. My printer broke so I have been judging things by eye which I guess in the end is a better thing anyways.  :)
