Jill, your painting is great.  I especially noticed that when I am looking at it in the gallery from afar, it has great value combinations which makes it interesting to  the eye.

I've been out of town, and am trying to catch up on EVERYTHING!  I'm way behind!

All the paintings look great - another fun class that I missed  :'(   But - I should be at the next class if all goes well!

I have a question about the PDF - I got an email that said it was ready, but I can't load it from the link.  And, on the My Available Classes area, it says PDF to Follow.  Have any of you been able to download the PDF?  Thanks!  "See" you all on Sunday!

Just returned from our 11 day trip to Wisconsin (should have been 10 but our flight home stranded us in Chicago for a night!) Feeling a little rusty in the painting arena so figured the best cure for that was taking a PB class! Here's my version of this beach scene - which my neighbor says reminds him a bit of Carmel...
Cheers,
Sharon

Sharon, just soften down the distant trees to give the impression of distance. Do this and the painting will be highly improved

Thanks for the great advice, Dennis - trees in the back are softened and it does make a difference! And thanks, Natalie - I love how Dennis has taught us so many ways to paint a sky!
Cheers,
Sharon

Nice work everyone,

I found this one a bit challenging for the mid way green bushes.   Here is my version. Your advices is always welcome.

Danielle, I know I have said it before, but I just love your work! Every time I look at something you have painted "clean" is the first thought that comes to my mind. Your colors are so clean.   Another beautiful job!

Christina you are so sweet, and encouraging.   :thankyou: For this lovely comment you are giving me, i truly appreciate.  I did not quite like my background though.
PS Christina,:   I just looked at your album and you are very good at what you do.  I see a lot of pictures you share and a few paintings,  are you not showing all of your lessons. i would like to see more of them, you are very talented.
