Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments  :smitten:

Dennis, this lesson has me taking second looks at post boxes around town!
I'm a little sad that there are only a few more wc classes left. That's ok though, there's much to continue learning from and it gives us more incentive to create our own pieces  ;) .

I'm happy that you're taking us into the world of pastels, change is good!  :twothumbs:

:thankyou:  Val for your lovely comments.  You are always so encouraging which I appreciate immensely. Yes, our watercolour lessons are coming to an end and we will be doing pastels next year. Dennis will make an announcement nearer the time.

:thankyou:  Christina, Maryna, Penny and Jennylynn for your lovely comments. Jennylynn, I missed you yesterday.

:thankyou:  Dennis too, for a wonderful, interesting lesson which I so enjoyed.

     Tina, it was wonderful to see you taking the class yesterday for I had been thinking and wondering about you as you have been quiet over the last couple of months.  Hope all is well with you.

I am not so enthusiast about the pastel classes at this time. I am just getting my feet/hands wet on watercolor painting and drawing. It would be too much for me to tackle another form of art. I will have to go trough the first 40 classes that I miss by not knowing of PB site. That will keep me busy for a while. I will stay on the forum anyway; I love this group of people. Whenever a watercolor class will be given, I will be there. I am sure the pastel classes given by Dennis will be as interesting and challenging as the watercolor ones. At least I will paint along with you on Sundays from the first 40 classes. Well, now I’ll go to finish putting my rose garden to sleep for the winter, and then back to painting the mail box painting.  :'(  Doina, I am also so sad about the watercolour lessons coming to a close. Change is always very difficult for us older people but at the same time, it is good to learn new things for it suggests growth.  Besides, it is good to learn about other mediums and I have seen some wonderful pastel paintings and often wished that I knew how to paint/draw with them.  You never know, you may decide to change your mind and join us in the pastels while doing watercolours on the side. I hope so.   Our Winters are so long and we will have the time for sure as there is no outside activities like gardening.  So why not come in and join the fun?     Patricia
