In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future.  Thanks

Hi Dennis;
Is there some "do ahead" masking we can do before Sunday?
Thanks

There is very little masking to do.

Dennis, on tomorrow class template, is a dotted line and underneath is written" line up this edge". We'll have to line that with the upper "border" of the template size on the painting paper? I see that is not horizontal. Is inclined because of the bird landing on the roof, or should be aligned inclined with the paper? Hope I did not made a hill out of a mole!!! :-\  doina

Yes, Doina, that dotted line is to be horizontal to keep the post box at an angle. The post box is NOT standing up straight.

Thank you Dennis. I realized that the post box is not standing straight and from here the confusion. Thanks again, doina

 :'( Looks like I won't get to paint along today. Things have been quite hectic past day or two. Will be launching tomorrow so have had to do lots of boat stuff in preparation. Just finished loading stretcher boards about 1/2 hr. ago...have had so much rain nothing is drying quickly today. Doesn't that just figure?   :faint: Usually the other way round! Have the hair dryer out....we'll see.
Cheers, Val

Crumbs, I had made such a boo boo.  I aligned the top line with the top of the frame which left a huge expanse of white at the bottom and then that just set the tone for the rest of the painting. However, no matter all the mistakes, I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson, thank you Dennis.

Oh, these birds and boxes are looking good, folks!

Val, where are you off to now? You painting students will be sad to see you go.
