well all did this for a challenge lol  first time I have done something in pastels. only had about half a dozen colours to work with, I know this isn't perfect but hey I enjoyed doing it  O0   going to definitely invest in more pastels, can't wait till next year to learn with dennis  :yippee:  cus if I'm not mistaken that's our medium for lessons next year isn't it?  ::)

Wow jennylynn your drawing in pastels is amazing the detail in the eye of the eagle is really good and the feathered detail is very good it's the dark background that sets it off, look forward to seeing more and if Dennis is using pastel next year that will be exciting.  Ray
Kindest regards

Gorgeous!  Well done, Jennylynn!

I wasn't aware that Dennis will be using pastels next year.  Interesting!!!  I love pastel!

I see you did this on coloured paper especially for pastel?  Did you use pastel pencils or chalk?  Nice job!   O0

ray  :thankyou:  for your lovely comment and encouragement, looking forward to doing more work with the pastels.

:thankyou:  Lillian  yes I did this on black pastel paper, and used soft pastels and pastel pencils, have only got literally half a dozen pastel pencils and a few soft pastels. will definitely have to invest in more. O0

I don't think I was dreaming  :idiot2:   but sure that dennis said at the end of one of his lessons that next year he was going to do lessons with pastels.

Banner job Jenny!  :heeha: Really well done.

Pastels you say?  >:D   Next year?    Guess I'll need to invest in those white paper painter's suits....  :eyesclosed: perhaps should rethink recovering the salon settee... besides, I'll need the money for pastel papers...  :heeha: and pastel stuff! Oh....and maybe some plastic drop sheets

Wonder if they make those inflatable clean rooms...only mine would be for keeping the 'stuff' in, not out! ..... something to think about....
