This a drawing using pen & ink with graphite 5B pencil on plain drawing paper


Any comments welcome (nice ones please I am feeling delicate). Lol.

Please find revised drawing hopefully giving picture more body with shading

Nice job on the beached boat, Ray.  Such fine detail!!!  Maybe a bit more shading on the side of the boat that would be out of the sun.

Otherwise, a masterful piece of work!

Beautiful Ray, love the detailing on this. I can't imagine doing this in ink, I'm impressed! I have nothing to say that will hurt your delicate feelings today  ;)

and Mea I do agree with you about the shading on the shadow part when I looked at the original it showed alot more tonal depth in the shadow so well spotted    :tickedoff:   :-*  cheers everyone  Ray

I do however feel that the boat feels flat because of the lack of shading in it. Why not add some shading to show the rounding of the boat? O0
