Hi all I have a favor to ask. I am going to put these kids in this painting. What do you think of the proportions? I think it is the right place for them but not sure of the size.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  :thankyou:  :painting:

I like the painting so far, and I think the proportions are about right. The only thing I might change is I think I would have the children right where the water is breaking. The little one seems to be looking down at his/her feet.

Proportions are fine.  It's two items though.  I'd add a pail with a shovel in it for the third item.  Don't forget footprints and/or impressions in the sand.

Thanks everyone now I feel confident to take it to the next level and yes I had intended shadows, footprints had not thought of bucket and spade though good idea.

Stoney, proportion looks good to me.  Kids are on a cross of thirds so that is a great place for them.  Not sure I would move them up to the water as that would take them out of the 'Sweet Spot' 1/3's... as it is, it looks like older kid is trying to encourage younger one to go in.  If you want you could bring a bit of the water to them where they are.   But you are the Artist, so you decide!  I like the overlay to test it, smart idea   O0
