Wow, it really is awesome, well done Val. Some new tricks in your armoury. I really like your rocks, they are perfect.

I see the knife is on the left, are you left handed?

Yes its true...my secret is out...I am a lefty.
Thank you for your encouraging comments. I found I enjoyed doing this one more than when using brushes. Felt like I had better control. I think I'm going to muck about with this for a bit, I still have 4 different knives to play with!

Personally, I like the rocks too!
Cheers, Val

Difficult to keep a secret from me  ask my Mom, she could never secretly buy crisps or sweets when I was at school and think she will hide them for later. When she went looking for them they were long gone already  8)

Hard to believe two such fine looking, upstanding gentlemen could be closet sweet thieves. Dear, dear. Nothing left to do but confess...yes I too am guilty as charged..especially if its a sherbert fountain!

I'm still mucking about with this...just fascinates me. I was trying the remove the painting bit as you can see in the background. Minus a very mucky mountain. Added the red to try some effects, and than got on to trying palm trees and water. Was very surprised  :heeha: at how easy it was to make the palms with the knife. I've never had much luck painting them with brush. Took quite a few layers to get the water, but I think with more practice it can be done. I'm going to try taking the red out of the palms...might end up with a picture!  :2funny:

yeah, minus the red test and plus the mountain again and you will end  up with a good painting. The palm tree came out great
