Still have some bits to do on the turtle, undecided on a couple of things so I'll go back to that shortly.  I've come up with another possibility for the iguana, hope to get started on him in a day or two.  I'll post as I go along so stay tuned!  :-X  ;D

I'm impressed Val...you're not no amateur to me.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

Thanks Pat, that is very special coming from you. I've had a couple of false starts on this one, he'll probably have to wait until I get a bit more confident with the paints. I'm getting better with the washes but still have to remember to let the layers dry before adding other colours....I do tend to get carried away.  :whistle:

What a lovely animal Val.  :gl2:  :fight: it but don't forget to look up and enjoy your trip as well. I was on the site, paintmyphoto. :D :) Nolan and Dennis, I am sure our group will not mind to start sharing photos?
