I think every one of you deserves a standing ovation...this was such a beautiful painting but even being there, it did not look like it was easy - I know DENNIS made it look easy but I'm pretty sure it's not (which no doubt I'll prove lol) so you all did incredible jobs!  I think each one is great!  Hat's off to ye!

:thankyou: :thankyou:  Brian and Mary for your kind comments which are encouraging.  I struggled to keep up yesterday for whatever reason. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the lesson immensely as I always do. It is a wonderful past time.  Patricia

You are too kind Mary.  :1hug:  By but its been a while since I had a good splashing about with the w/c. I generally fall behind and have to wait for the replay, but I do seem to pick up a lot of good bits...probably because there's no time to really think about it...ya just do it!  ;D

Cheers, Val

Pretty, Patricia! This seems like a magical place I have not experienced. The unique background trees, tall hedge rows and the blue gum tree are all charming. And you have done a beautiful job of depicting Dennis' vision.

:smitten: Everyone did an impressive job!  I had to scoot before class was finished-just as well since I blobbed my person up and made a mess.  It will be a replay for me!  Since Val likes to see the warts and all here's mine:

Natalie...you made me laugh before I even clicked on it as it sounded like something I would say about my own painting...lol....BUT...it's gorgeous as always and I think there could be a very strong case for this being the kind of card or photo that illustrates the concept of someone either walking in light or going toward the light or something of a spiritual nature.  You can make out that there's a figure in all the "light" so I dunno...you may have created a masterpiece!  LOL...I'm serious!

:thankyou:  Thank you Sarah for always lifting me up with your wonderful comments. You are a real motivator and bless you for that.  I really appreciate it.

   Wonderful Blue Gum tree Natalie and Mary is right, there is something mystical about the person in a haze going toward or being in the light.  Lovely job.  Patricia

Pat, I don't like to see those blushing faces in your post!   :nono:

You managed to finish your painting and congratulations!  Anyone who actually finishes a paint along need a medal!   :flowers:   Lots of positives too.  Good job on the distant trees.  Now don't be hard on yourself.

Natalie, too bad for the "blob"!   :'(   A very nice painting just the same.   O0

I bet you can fix it.  I just know you can.   :1hug:

:thankyou:  Lillian for your lovely comments.  I guess I was being "negative" about my painting because I got lost a few times and struggled to get back on track while trying to follow Dennis' instructions. We are our own worst critics and I am a queen of that for sure!  Nevertheless, I appreciate you lifting me up. Thank you Lillian.

:thankyou: Jennylynn, Oh! Yes, it is good to paint along for sure but I think one must have the correct mind set at the start for there is no time to second guess or fumble around. My nerves get a bit on edge when I can't seem to :run: with the pack. Sign of advancing age?  I think so.  Anyway, thank you for your kind comments which I do appreciate.
