Beautiful, Trev.  Really soft natural look to it.  Nice tree bark.

Thanks Win and Mea, gaining the atmosphere in this lesson was a lot of fun. My son says it doesnt look finished and i should strengthen the background misty trees? What do you think?

Thanks Dennis! Im sure you have a lot to do with my style coming through  ;)

Val you are right  ;D, I felt it was to risky to ruin a good painting (which i think is realism?) with one of my dodgy excuses for a figure . I nearly did it but thought it was strong enough without one.

Thanks Cyril I also really emjoyed this one. I found it very flowing and most things worked nicely. Your version is superb by the way!

Have a lovely day...
Trev

No, the misty background was an essential part of this lesson, and you have captured it beautifully.  O0

That's also why my bird in the tree is so small...but I just told everyone it was a really big tree!      :2funny:

You really should give it a go Linley, it's great fun and you'll learn lots of new little tricks and tips.

 I'm thinking I should give this another go, would definitely help me out with the softening, blending and glazes required in the succulent challenge..... I shall have to have a looksee!
Cheers, Val
