Thank you all.....I sure appreciate it.  Since I've "lost my baseball mitt", I've been trying to do 'catch up'. No....I don't hurry....that's when I really screw up!  :2funny:   I'm just pluggin along, and learning as I go.  Dennis will have to go on another holiday for me to be at the class number to paint!!  LOL
Thanks, again. Really enjoyed the painting.  Workin on a Big Bird Parrot now!  LOL

Somehow I'm not in order, either.  Oh well......Real paints, workable right hand....what else can I ask for.

Hey Bella, Very nice!!!  O0 O0   It does make a difference when you have quality paints. You will fine that it does not take much paint, and they will go a long way. Glad to hear your mitt is off.  :1hug:

Bella, I'm so 'out of order' I'll be  :ban: banned from the classroom!  :2funny: I keep promising myself I'll go back and follow all of my missing lessons 'in order' ..... well, we know how that goes!  ::)
Cheers, Val

Beautiful Mary Lou       As I was going upriver this morning, there were hundreds of butterflies that looked much like the one in the top right corner of your painting. Had to slow the dinghy so I wouldn't hit any of them! I think it was about two weeks ago we had a hatching of a different butterfly, light yellows and greens... it looked like it was snowing butterflies!  :heeha:

I'll be posting some from our trip soon.
Cheers, Val

Thanks Val!  Oh, so many butterflies!  How amazing.  They do migrate, it really is quite something as Dennis mentioned in the lesson.  The monarch travels from Canada to Mexico on those fragile wings!

Mary Lou,  Wow, such intricate work on the butterflies.  Nice colors, too.

Are the leaves of that plant supposed to be that pale?  I am always on the lookout for gray leaves for a gray-green garden that I hope to plant some day.

Mary Lou, Wonderful Job on the Butterflies  :smitten:

The orange one appears to be a 'Gulf Fritillary'
The one flying in should be a 'Giant Swallowtail'
Not sure about the one on the top of the flower, is it a 'Red-Spotted Purple'?
Can anyone ID that last one for me?

I love your  :painting: Mary Lou   :smitten:
