:thankyou:   Jennylynn, for your lovely comments.  It is much easier to take your time with portraits instead of rushing to try and keep up with Dennis but the exercise is a wonderful experience.  As you will notice, my colours are totally different from what Dennis used and it really excites me to watch the Master and to learn from him and of course to use the colours he suggests.  I really enjoyed the lessons.  Patricia

Here is my water baby. The water drops did not quite work out but for the 1st attempt I am quiet happy with the result.

I have not had much time to be on the forum lately because of the move so I am not able comment individually at the moment.

But from what I've seen I can tell you I'm very chuffed with the quality of the all the portraits, specially from the beginners. It is certainly not an easy subject but you all surpassed my expectations  :yippee: :yippee:

What a fabulous lot you are to teach and you are all doing well  :thankyou:

I must say each and everyone of you are doing a fantastic job on your paintings. I have not been able to get back to painting. Actually have not had the heart to do it. Been having some family issues. Been doing a lot of praying, I know God is in control. Anyway great job guys.  O0 O0

I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Nina,
Thinking ofyou at this time, Joshua 1:9 has always been a comfort to me. Bill

Nina, I am so sorry to hear about your family problems.  In response to whatever is happening in your life, just keep saying "I trust you Jesus".    I shall lift you and your circumstances up in prayer for sure.

Yes, Bill, that is a lovely Scripture and just below that in Joshua 1:5 ... "I will never leave you nor forsake you" has always been a comfort to me too.
