Oh, I am so impressed. You are all going to be ready for the full portrait when it comes along. If I would just pull myself away from the drawing table long enough, I could actually join you. I am so proud of everyone so far. :yippee:

      Geez, Natalie, Nina, Jennylynn and Lynnp, you girls did soooo well!! Congratulations to you all.  I wish I could have joined in but will post mine after I watch the replay.

Oh! Val, I was just so frustrated for I was all set up waiting for the lesson to begin ... I could have cried ... but then I have the replay to fall back on so that settled me down.  I was however, very disappointed to say the least.  Oh! Well, its not the end of the world, I will survive!!!  The buffering is just darned annoying.

Patricia--The buffering is so prevalent for me each time.  I used to get so annoyed.  I now plan for it.  I usually print another reference pic that is in the realm of the lesson and revert to that instead of staying frustrated.  That is what I had to do today.  I am starting to wonder if I should skip the live classes. So fortunate to have the replays!!!  Sorry it happened to you.

Lynnp, it would seem that I am not alone in my frustrations and I am sorry for you having to suffer the frustrations too.  Anyway, I have just had an email to say that the replay is available already    :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: but now I don't have much time today as I have grandchildren to take care of and tomorrow I am going across the River to the States to do some shopping but then there is Wednesday!!!!    What is so annoying is that I get all set up and ready to go and then have to sit and look at a screen that doesn't move for more than 20 minutes at a time, no matter what I do.  I tried to reload but to no avail.  Anyway, I hope to get the problem sorted out today as my husband is calling our Service Provider.  The problem is that if we purchase just the replays it is $14 as opposed to $9 so I will just stick with the lessons even though I can't see them at the appropriate time.  I hope that you can get yours sorted out too.  It is so disappointing I know.  Take care, Patricia

Bill, I think you've done a great job with this.         You've got your shadow, midtone, and highlight colours all in. Done well with getting some texture and dimension in there to boot. All she needs is a good brushout and she'll be gorgeous!  O0

I am extremely happy with the results of ALL the paintalongs    Natalie, Nina, Jenny, Lynn (plus the bun), it was not an easy subject and you all excelled. O0
Bill, you have done the teaching justice -    why?:
1.  Taking action
2.  Doing your best
3.  All this leads to improvement.
