So...maybe a few scales...hint of green?  >:D

Not scales, Val, just perhaps some eyelashes?? Lots of green eyelashes!

Love it, Val!   :2funny: I don't see fish scales...just a couple of age spots!  You're good!

Mary :2funny: . Now Val. There should be no alcohol present during a paint along. Did you see Dennis sipping away over his eye? :drink2drop: Poor Nolan has enough to take care of. Course it was Super Bowl Sunday and you were in Canada. I LOVE your eye! :)  It's the well-placed cauliflower at the bottom the makes it a little reptilian. You aren't the Cauliflower Queen for nothing. But you know what--all that aside, I really like the iris. The outside darkness is blended beautifully and there is the suggestion of the little pleats(?) without becoming too tight and fussy for the medium. Good job! :yippee:

Ok here is my paint long. I also went ahead and painted the last set of eyes. Even though I did not know what I was doing.  :2funny: :2funny:
I did enjoy doing this. Even though I have never, never done anything with Portraits.

Here's my take on the eyes lesson.  I missed a lot because of buffering and don't even know whether I have done these eyes correctly but thought I would try them anyway.  Once again, all comments and critiques are most welcome.  Patricia

:thankyou:  Roxy.  After all the "buffering" when the computer returned, Dennis was an eye ahead but I thought that I would still give it a try as it is practice and all the wonderful forum members will guide me if Dennis doesn't manage to, before the replay comes out.  So I am in a good place.
