Hi Roxy.

Great job on the landscape and the ball  .  The trees look great.

My Labrador has one of those stomach clocks.  She gets fed at 5pm everyday but starts staring at me around 4:30pm trying to talk me into early dinner  ;D .  Sometimes it works.  Doggie hypnosis.

Great start Roxy, well done

Okay, now right click on the zip file and select extract here. That will then unpack all the files inside the zip file and make them usable.

Your Lets Draw folder should now have quite a few more files in it over and above the original zip file.

One of them is the Lets_Draw_Menu.html file

double click it and your empty menu should open up

let me know

Thanks Nolan, both for the encouragement and for the crash computer course. . .  oops probably shouldn't use "crash" and "computer" in the same sentence . . . . might be bad luck! LOL!
Everything is functioning as should be.
I'm now working on drawing a shiny reflective ball. . . . yikes!

A BIG thank you to each of you, Sarah, Dianne, CB, Tania and Jennylynn . . .my faithful  :cheering: :cheering: cheering section! :2funny:  And oh that darn scratchy lead . . .  at least two pencils went into the bin today! I can't take that!!
Temperamental little artist I've become, eh?  It's all this praise swelling my head!

Quick funny story: I wear head phones whilst listening to Nolan teach. The volume is turned up. Yesterday, all was quiet in the house, I still had the head phones on; Nolan was sketching and erasing. I was trying to keep up with him.  All of a sudden  he blew the eraser shavings off his paper and almost sent me right out of my chair! I gotta tell ya,  until you have had Nolan Clark blow in your ear you haven't lived :2funny:

:2funny:   :2funny:  Better not let that little tidbit get around....he'd have some serious explaining to do to Mel!  :2funny:   :2funny:

It was something else, I tell you, something else indeed!
Into the complete, intense, silence of concentration, through my head phones, comes this very loud snort/whoosh!

PS: Mel can rest assured that the closest Nolan got to my actual ear was about 9,000 miles! :2funny:

Now I really wish I could have gotten head phones working on my ancient computer!! :heeha:  Every widow's wildest dream! As it is, the videos are so quiet, I have to hang on the man's every word! No worries Mel. Snort/whoosh sounds more like a water buffalo than a romantic encounter.

:2funny: :2funny: :2funny:   You guys are so funny!

Thanks for the laughs.  You gave me a great start today, just what I needed, a good belly laugh!

Happy drawing or painting or whatever you're doing.

   Sorry about not responding, I meant too, then I start painting and I'm in the twilight zone.

Your so very talented too with that pencil, in fact any of the threads for drawing I have been able to get to are great.

Darn I'm jealous of all of you in the drawing course.  Not really, well not too much anyway..lots on my plate already...maybe later in the year, will see how it goes.

Keep up the good work and have a fun day!
