Thank You nolan, I think I will find this site very useful as I was impressed immediately with it's layout and examples of Member's work in the Gallery... In regards to your question...I draw for fun...paint for money.

Welcome Patrick. Dont' forget the details on that painting and use a teeny tiny brush...just kidding. Nice job.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

You and Kaaskrul will chat up a storm, she also does murals.
I have never attempted anything near that big, must be great fun.  :heeha:

Hi Patrick!  :welcome: to the site! I love the mural.. As Nolan said, I have also painted some murals.. mostly for nursery schools. It's heaps of fun... (and much easier than canvasses..)

Have you done other murals as well?
