:surrender: Ok .... so it's a trainwreck.  :o  I am going to post it tomorrow after it dries, yes it's that wet!  :2funny: The more I try to soften edges and salvage this poor  thing (?) the worse it gets.  ;D  I may have to go and look at a couple of those flower painting lessons.

So, for any of you folks, new or otherwise, who don't think you're good enough to post a challenge...think again!
When you see this... aw geez, Dennis is going to put me back in the kindergarten class!   :2funny:   :2funny:
Join in and have a good giggle!  :yippee:
Cheers, Val

Oh, God, I didn't see that coming! Started yesterday and it's just so muddy and horrible and I didn't even got the wish to finish it. As they say, back to the drawing board! :2funny:

Way to get us off to a great start, guys!!

Question...If I try this, would mine be disqualified if I don't paint the yellow flower in there? My eye keeps wanting to go back to it.

Absolutely not C.  The idea is to paint your rendition of the photo. As long as the finished painting 'resembles' the photo, you're good! Hope you give it a go.  O0

Just had another look at the ref photo....I see I forgot to put the yellow in the center bit, and completely missed the other yellow flower at the bottom. Guess that's why it looks a bit off kilter.

Val I'm not seeing anything wrong with your greens-it has a soft marbled paper look to your background!  :smitten:  You haven't done the floral classes?  :knuppel2:

Hey guys can I play too?  I'm not as experienced as most of you but I love painting flowers, so I thought I'd give it a try.  It's such a lovely flower.  I'll post my version later.

Well you see Natalie...it looked like such fun on the paint-a-longs, I sort of just skipped over about 30 lessons
I will be doing all of them though...later

Red1, absolutely. Come on in and play. It's a great way to stretch that little bit more and learn something new. The more the merrier!   :yippee:
