We're off for a short holiday to Southport, UK soon. So, I'm taking my camera/camcorder to try snap a few scenic shots (I'll share any good ones on here for members to freely use  ;))
But, what I also want to do is, use this as an exercise in art. Basically, I want to:

Observe the scene to see if it might result in a good photo to paint.
Capture the scene but, with considerations on light direction, reflections of water & colours, etc.
Isolate areas of colour in the photo using a 'Colour Buster' hole or, by using smaller centre punched paper hole.
Identify the colours and look to see if any might present a 'problem', like copper, gold, silver, etc.
Then, try to  recreate the colours using acrylic paint ('cos we are in the Motorhome!), again, using the Colour Buster & Colour Wheel formula guides.

I'll post updates from the site, if there's any signal for the 'Three' network. I've got their 'One Plan' so, I can use unlimited internet data  :yippee:

Enjoy your vacation, Tony.  Neat ideas!  Sounds like you're going to have lots of fun.

Don't forget to spend some quality time with the Missus.

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos and most of all your creations from them.  :flowers:
