Hello Everyone. I have not been on for awhile, but may be able to come on once in a while now. Don't know for sure. Life with me has been a living H-ll.  My husbands dimentia has gotten really bad and he is hard to deal with. Some days are not worth getting up.  I also have been in bad health and am trying to keep one of my legs, as it has gotten really bad.  The drs are doing all they can. I have been sooo depressed and down.  I have tried to keep on trying to arrange drawings on paper while in bed. I also have been doing some watercolor, not good enough to post but will keep trying on the days I can.  The depression is severe and won't let up. My watercolor stuff is downstairs and hard for me to get to. I am sure all will be ok, once I have pulled my lazy butt out of this depression.  So will see you when i am able.

So sorry, Honeysuckle.  I wish I were close.  I'd bring all your art materials right upstairs to you.  That would sure cheer you up.  I hope things get better real soon.  Try to think positive .. I know it's hard when things are not as they should be.  Just try to keep your spirits up.  Talk to the man upstairs.  Sometimes that is the best medicine.  He can fill your heart with joy!  Take care.

Shame to hear you are having such a difficult time. Do what you can, when you can. Would love to see what you,ve been doing regardless of whether you think its good enough or not. You never know...I might actually learn something!   :heeha:
Here's hoping things settle out a bit for you. Missing you already.   :(   :1hug:

Dear Honeysuckle,
I am quite new in the paintbasket, but I have seen your nice drawings coming up and I especially love your horse portrait and that beautiful fish. I am sure that what you did and do not like is just as nice, only you can't se it for the moment. I really feel sorry for you. You are having such a bad time, but remember that the sun always gets up in the horizon again. Waiting to see your drawings as soon as possible for you. :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :smitten:

Hi Honey, I've been missing you!

So sorry for all the problems you're having.  It's no mystery that you would be depressed.

Please don't be too hard on yourself.  Like Val says, do what you can when you can.

My heart is going out to you.  You are in my prayers.   :flowers:

Sweet Honeysuckle -

I'd been thinking of you as I noticed you weren't visible lately and I was hoping things were ok with you.  It sounds like you're having a tough time with everything on your plate and no wonder you're feeling depressed.  There's a quote by John Denver (yes, I do mention him every opportunity I that says..."for the moment at hand is the only thing we really own."  Simple words.  Difficult to really practice and live it but it's the truth no matter how you slice it.  When things are overwhelming, sometimes the only thing you can do is break it up into small pieces and stay centered on those things.  No one can cheerlead anyone out of a depression but sometimes accessing the tools we have available to us as human beings can help.  Be gentle on yourself right now...sometimes it not only is "one day at a time" but one hour...or one minute even.  But each  time you get through one is a victory.  You're a very special person and this extraordinary community is here for you to listen and help in any way we are able.  Take good care of you.   :1hug:

I'm impressed you can keep going even with the drawing with all you have to contend with, Honeysuckle. I hope things come right for you soon.

Hi Honey...I wondered where you were and if everything was okay....I miss you. So glad you grab a pencil or a paint brush once in does help. God bless you and remember we are here for you. You are sure in my prayers, and I've asked for a special guardian angel to keep you safe and well.

Honeysuckle, I once read a message on a board where the words were very poignant. It read 'Not All The Darkness Can Put Out The Light Of One Small Candle'.  It was outside a church. Now I'm not at all religious but, them words were very meaningful to shine a light on people in their darkest times.
You keep your little candle burning kid!
Best regards from your PB family  :flowers:
