Val, do you remember a couple years ago you and I attempted to draw a spheres (Nolan's Christmas tree ornaments if I remember correctly)?  Let me say, you have done a remarkable job here.  It is a pleasure seeing your progress.  I am glad you posted these pictures.  Nicely done!   :yippee:  O0

;D  Kelley, I remember them only too well.  Somewhat painful but you did a great job with them.
Thanks for keeping faith with me and I appreciate your support over the past 2 years....doesn't seem that long ago does it?   :D

Thanks for your comment C.  I wasn't too sure about the berries, by the time I was halfway through I literally ran short on the light pencils   :heeha:  ended up finishing by using some of the old type yellow school pencils. So all in all I'm pleased with how it turned out.   :)

Thanks Lillian, appreciate the input. Good to know I'm on the right track.   :yippee:

 :thankyou:  Nina

Mary, if I could get the shading on my people to look like the spheres I'd be thrilled....Unfortunately they'd all look like the Michelin Man!   :2funny:

Happy   :)  you recognized the berries!   ;D

Wow Val, lovely  :heeha:

The ball is near perfect.

and so are the berries

Just watch one thing though - the transition on the berries from mid tone to light, I see a line there.

:yippee:  I don't mind saying I was     a bit waiting on your reply Nolan. I'm having a bit of an issue with these eyeballs of mine. I have 3 pairs of 'up-close' glasses and have to keep switching between them to try and stay in focus. Having a bit of difficulty seeing the gradations at times. I hear coke bottles can be helpful...might give them a go next time!   :2funny:
Right .... I'm off to the rock pile ... tally-hoe!     That's for horseback riding.
Cheers, Val
