Painted this Seascape while my husband was away for the week. He went to very hot Tamworth for a country western Music Festival so I had the kitchen to myself  :yippee:
Lesson was in Oils but painted it in Acrylics (various brands - some very cheap) as I don't like oil paints. Painted on canvas.
This week it was very hot, each day over 30 deg C. so paint kept drying too fast. Very frustrating :tickedoff:
The sky was painted over about 7 times because each time i didn't like they way it turned out.  :uglystupid2:
I found the ocean and the waves a lot easier to paint.
The colour in the attached picture it a bit washed out to the original painting. Original colours are alot darker.
So last night i finally stopped fiddling with the painting, put away the brushes   :coffee: and here it is

The sea and wave looks great. I remember I did this in oils, which was quite a struggle as well.
