Ai Ke,

I think you did a beautiful job on this.

The central infusion of brightness is really nice.

People and dog look great.

Leaves are well shaped.

Nice shadows of the trees across the ground

Two concerns:
Color of the fence on the left grabs my eye.  Maybe tone it down a bit.

The two big tree in the foreground are well shaped, but there should be some leaves across the limbs, especially at the top.

Overall, GREAT work.

Well done, Aike      You need much more brighter reds, orange and yellows in the leaf area to make  it a really autumn scene. Do this and you will see a great difference O0  Post the revised painting below the original one for comparison.

Thank you for all your comments, that was really helpful!!!
Here the old one and below it, the new one, with toned down fence, more orange red and yellow in the leaves, some leaves to hide a bit the straight lines of the branches and ... I fear  ??? a bit of a red stripe that I need to correct on the left side ....

Also a better camera to reflect the actual colors better - that helps as well  :D

Ai Ke

Much better.  You have really brightened up the trees and made the whole painting come alive.

Good work.

So much better Aike,    Can i just add that you could put some leaves in front of the branches that would give it a more natural look.

Hi Danielle,

I actually did after your first, good advice, but it does not really show on the picture, somehow.

I think because the branches are so dark... Maybe I tone them down a bit in some places....I'll see what I can do...

Great Ai Ke, did you also add some leaves.  You can remove some darks in the branches with a your wet brush and a dab with a tissue. Then you can add some red and orange.  Have fun.
