Hi
I live in northeast Georgia US. I just wanted to thank you for the site.  I have been started painting again for a couple of years now.  The color wheel explanation is fantastic.  I have always had a problem making my colors come alive.  I will start working on colors from a new perspective now.  Again thanks for the site and the time you take to share.

Robert

Welcome to this site Robert. It's a great site! Lots of encouragement here and easy to understand instructional advice.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the nice welcome.  My love is oils.  I like their forgiving nature.  I like to paint landscapes especially the nature scenes locally.  I am looking forward to learning and getting to know everyone.

:welcome: Hello Robert, and welcome. You have found the right place to learn and improve techniques and talents. The encouragement and support is unprecedented, and above all honesty in appraisals. I think I handle them very well..... :knuppel2:  :2funny:
Cheers, Val
