Mary, how creative!  The possibilities are endless.  I suppose each time you get a new outfit, it calls for making earings to match.  Wearing your artwork -- what a  8)

Mary...you just rang a bell in my head!!  I have a favorite pair of earrings that are black and red I wear mostly on the holiday. They are silk with black and red w/c panted in swirls, then covered in plastic. I get more comments on them....they are beautiful. Keep up the great work....I need more earrings!!!!  LOLOL

Good morning, Tousabella!  Red and black could very well be my favorite color combination and I rarely work on a series of baubbles without including something of those two...I think it's the scorpio in me  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:.  Yours sound beautiful and I just may have to play with swirls now!  Making all kinds of jewelry was nearly a daily activity u n t i l ..... :2funny:...well, the first word starts with "P" and the second with "B" and we know why!   :2funny:  Thanks so much!

Thank you, Lillian!  Now if I could just figure out a way to wear a landscape, I'd be all set...maybe like sandwich boards?    :2funny:

Mary, you could just wear your landscape sandwich boards and that could be your new outfit, just make the matching ear rings and you're all set.  Please get some matching underwear though.  ::)   :2funny:

Ya, but, Lillian - Nolan said we're supposed to paint all sides on a gallery canvas so wouldn't that just be enough?   :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Mary!  I've  !  How about you just by the canvas on the roll, paint your landscape on it and make your outfit from that!   8)   :2funny:  Then you wouldn't need to wear underwear.

You could start a new artists' fashion trend.  :2funny:

Seriously, I do love your ear rings.  I understand how the place that starts with P and ends with B would keep slow down the production.   :)

Dying and crying  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:, Lillian!  Now THAT'S what I call a creative solution!  The only concern would be the watercolor ones though...I wouldn't be able to go out in the rain!!!  Unless I slathered on some masking fluid I guess!   :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Up till now I thought that your P B stood for Point Blank. I thought you had been hijacked by Mickey Rourke in a shopping centre.

Mary, I searched for an appropriate place to post this so I wouldn't get  too :offtopic:

I just read where you said in another post

I'm getting better with slowing it down with the oils but not the watercolors and am getting to the point where I just don't think they're for me.   :(

That statement sent me flying to your gallery!  What did I see there?  Some really nice watercolor paintings!  Go take a look for yourself!    :cheering: :cheering:

We all have our ups and downs, but see for yourself, you've done fantastic work both with watercolor and with oils.   :yippee:

Of course the choice is yours.  You are so creative!  Are you still making jewellery?

I love watercolor and I'm looking forward to getting back to some oils again after doing the portrait painting course and watching all the videos since that time.  For me, I like the idea of becoming versatile, just want to do everything!

Mary, I struggle with the very same thing.  One time I will do a wc that I really like and the next two will be a real struggle for me.  I start thinking, ok, I need to leave it alone and stick with oils. Then I go to the next class and go oooh, I really want to try that one! :) There are some people who will be able to grasp wc technique very quickly and others, like me, who will have to practice a little harder. It may take me a little longer, but I (WE)WILL GET THERE!

I see nothing wrong with your wc at all!! Your work is very nice!!! I think we just have to hang in there! O0
