I am wanting to start the class on painting white and painting fabric. I came across an incredible artist today. His name is Joaquin Sorolla, a Spanish painter from turn of the century. I am in awe of how he paints white Fabric, especially a painting called"mending the sails" and "bathtime"If you are interested ,google him.

Nolan, is the copyrite free laws of copying an old painting 100 years (I know you  still have to write on the back of the canvas "after (original artists name)  but is it copyrite free after that time period? Some conflicting opinions on the web.

Anya the safe amount of time is 120 years. I don't know of any country that has copyright laws longer than that
