Since I've just arrived in PB family just about a couple of months ago, you'll forgive me if I am to post a reply to a post 2 years old...  But I can't help it. Although I completely agree with you, Nolan, regarding 'giving advices how to improve' I also support the constructive criticism. I usually don't say anything about someone's work if I can say something nice, but I believe that sometimes, it's very useful for the learning process to hear some 'bad' opinions too, if they are given with some solutions too. Anyway, I think you are doing a wonderful job and finding PB is just about the best thing that happened to me this year!  :thankyou:

I think its important to have feedback on what went right, too.  This lets a person know where they're on the "right track".

The word "criticize" has a bad reputation or connotation so people don't like to use it. There is a difference when someone says, "You messed up by not adding yellow" versus "You're doing good so far, but you may want to add more yellow here"...in my opinion and personal experience.   I used to receive the former critical complaints and it was rather discouraging.  On the other hand, constructive criticism I believe is a form encouragement.  I want to be corrected and trained as you mentioned, just simply in supportive way.

Nolan,

Is there a way to change the title of my 30 minute practice topic in the Encourage section?  It says "30 Minute Sunrise."  (the first one I did)  But, I would rather it said, "30 Minute Practice Sessions.

As we say in Hawaii, "If no can, no can."  I can live with it this way.  Just wanted it to be a better description.

Mahalo,

MaryAnne (mea)
