In this tutorial Nolan Clark shows you how to get the perspective and composition positioning of the objects in your painting just right by using a transparency to check that the focal point is placed correctly before transfering the image to the canvas for painting.

we often use this trick in the studio and it really works well

I use transparent paper, that works just the same, if you don't have laminated  :blush:
