Is the flag for the hole that close to the bunker?

Thanks, Annie.  Postcards are so popular for inexpensive gifts.

Thanks, Danielle.  Yes, I guess those skinny trunks scared everyone.  I had only meant them to be place markers until I could get the trunks done.

Robin, the angle of the reference photo shows the flag very close to the ocean.  It's a tough hole.

I think you need some highlights now.  You went to far dark. The other one needed shadows now this one needs less dark.  I rather like it.

Thanks, Bryce.  Unfortunately I have already had it made into 500 postcards for distribution at the Sony Open golf tournament next January and the original painting was donated to the tournament.

Glad you commented anyway - will take it into consideration on my next work.

Great exposure!  Good luck!
Cheers, Annie

Okay here goes. first off I don't believe I'm posting this but I really want to know how to fix this mess.. My bushes at the foot of the mountains look like little soldiers.. that's first off. then I did the reflections.. I really did! lol but something was wrong on the right side so I took a mop and smoothed it out but forgot when to stop and before I knew it three quarters was smooth and so I did it all and now it looks like it looks with white sprays coming up.. now how did I know how to make white sprays!! LOL  I don't!  It's all dry now and I took it out of the garbage bin and was wondering if there is anyway to save this.... say no if it isn't so.. lol

Hmm...Robyann, interesting challenge.

Actually, those white spots look like mini-geysers.  I'd  add a few huge boulders in front so it would look like the water was spoting up behind them.

I like the rest of the painting the way it is.

Mea's idea just might work, Robyn. You could end up with a very nice unplanned painting!  O0

Robynann, I thought Mea's suggestion was a very good one too and you may have an excellent painting in your hands instead of in the garbage can.  I think everything else is very well done.   Patricia

Thanks Patricia.. I think when I was painting it I really wasn't concentrating all that well as the next day I had to go for a procedure at the hospital.. I let my nervousness sabotage my concentration.. LOL  which I can do very easily... I should have known that day I should have painted the familiar.. anyone ever get like that?

The brain will grow over time. Do a few other paintings. Rewatch the video a few times. Then go back and repaint it from the beginning. It is uncanny what will occur.
