Good for you, Harold, keeping up with the watercolor exercises!

I hope to see you in Dennis' class today.

Harald

I am so glad you are part of this "crew"  Your willingness to show us your work encourages me to keep doing the same.   and very nice job!    What is so neat is we often see the progress in others work before we can recognize our own progress

I'm going backwards!

I have been looking through the watercolor pdfs and doing some review.  Also, while I was organizing my pictures in my Watercolor file on my computer, I realized I had not done this exercise, so here it is.
I hope I did ok on this.

When I went here, I found this message at the top of the page, so I hope this goes through.

Lillian, the reflections of the posts are perfect. Remember that the water turbulance is behind the swan and very little at the front. Smooth out the water in front of the swan and you will see the difference.

Have to agree, the posts are excellent.

Your swan does have quite a bow wave there....he's a quickie!   ;D  Very nice though.   O0

 :thankyou: Dianne, Val and Nina.

I tend to overwork things, so I messed up the original painting.  Now I see that I forgot what Dennis told me about smoothing out the water in front.   :banghead:  :idiot2:

I will try to fix this without wrecking it and re-post.  Meanwhile here's the swan I did today.

Val, she's still revving her motor!   :2funny:  She could give your  :boat: a good race!

I kept mucking with this and now it's really overworked, but I hope it's ok now.
