This is my version of water reflections.  It was a fun and challenging class. My background. Is darker than what Dennis was teaching. I had to lift a lot off the color as I got carried away with the shadow color. I think my reflections are a bit off too but I learned a lot for the next time. As we keep saying....practice, practice, practice.  ;)

Kathy,

You are doing well in all media. This watercolor shows that you are learning quickly.

Hmmm... I get confused about shadows and reflections.  I had better take this class.

:thankyou: Thank you, Patricia, Ribezla, Mea, and Dennis. Your strong encouragement and suggestions really help me in my journey of art.  I feel much better about my painting today, after a good night's rest. I find that I have a fresh perspective after I walk away from my work for a while.  ;)

Well done, Kathy. You've captured the lesson beautifully.  You did very well.

Kathy, that's really well done - lovely water as others have mentioned - everything else too.
When I did this one I got so frustrated with the bushes. I ended up just using the sponge technique!

:thankyou: Thank you, Denise. I know just what you mean about the bushes. Mine had all blended in because I added way too much shadow. I ended up scrubbing out some of the darks to create bushes.   :P In the end, that seemed to work out well but I lost the technique Dennis was teaching in the process.
