In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these  to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future.  Thanks

Because so many artists struggle to paint water effectively, specially reflections, I have decided to split this Lesson into 2 parts.

In part1 I will be going somewhat into the mechanics of reflections in order for you to fully understand what actually happens with reflection in the water. The PDF is reasonably extensive with many illustrations and diagrams.

Near the end of the lesson we will be doing a few exercises in order for us to be ready for the actual painting the following week. As a result there will be no template for this lesson. All you need is some paper for the exercises.

Great class, Dennis. Can't wait to see the next one. Unfortunately, I won't get to be at the live lesson. We are going to DC. Hoping to get some nice photos while we are there.

Nolan, could you please check to see if I have booked part 2? I am sorry! I think I have booked it already, but I didn't keep a list. I will have to do that next time.

Hi Brian,

There was a draft when you entered the room, but Claude wasn't with us to complain about it.     :2funny:

I think the PDF will come with the replay.

Anything new that you start (as in waterolours) there will be difficulties. It gets better as you gain experience with practice.

The main thing here is that you have captured the motion - the action - which is more important than the details.

Yes, there's definitely movement in that water and that swan is coming straight for us!

Nice work, Harold.

I like that you always show us your paintings in frames.   :)
