This is a 9x12 acrylic painting that I did this week. I really liked the colors.

Lovely painting of the strelitzias. I really like the way you captured the colour and the shine on the stalks

See how the dark background enhances the yellow.

Thanks teachers. I mixed my own black, just like you taught Nolan. Aren't you proud of me? NO BLACK IN A TUBE.  :2funny: :2funny:
I will have to do another one to sell. This one is a give away.

Gee, lovely work Nina. I've been walking past a huge collection of them on the way to the train each day for a couple of weeks and thought, gee it'd be great if I were good enough to :painting: that. Not yet though (looking at doing the Tulips in Acrylics this weekend, so just starting out really.)

Hope Nolan says something like that about my stuff one day!  :D
I will have the chance to achieve perfection, when and only when I can remember the future.

Wow Nina!  Stunning colors!!!  Nice work!  Lucky the person who gets this!

Nina,
Why am I not surprised that your painting is so brilliant?  ;D  It so happens that this particular flower is one of my favorites and you rendered the bunch beautifully 8)
