please don't buy extra brushes for acrylics, just use the same ones you use for oils O0

Nolan, what do I use for the texture in the people? I don't have that thick stuff, can I use a few layers or paint?

Thanks Nolan for another great class.    :thankyou:

I couldn't enter the chat box either.  I did see everyone's comments.

I know it's overloaded and you will solve the problem when you get around to it.  I'll be patient, not a problem as far as I'm concerned, at least for today as I had no questions and nothing to add.

I am wondering though, what am I supposed to enter when the first box comes up with "Guest" in it.  Do I type "Lillian"?  That is what I did.

The sound and TV were loud and clear.   :congrats:

Fantastic class Nolan. I also could not use my chatbox but really enjoyed the show. It might just get me to take out my acrylics with which I had a fight with a few years back. Any plans for a new series of classes on oil painting?
If not now, when? If not me, who?

WOW..The quality of the video was awesome , the sound was equally good.! Unfortunately my internet provider seems to be running slow, That coupled with an older computer caused real problems on my studio computer. the picture would freeze for several minutes at a time, then locked up.  The Audio continued , uninterrupted.

On my other computer, it was just the "freeze"..

Is it possible to Easily provide both your current hi res  feed and a lower res feed for those of us with slow connections?   Almost or maybe just like the feed for an android?

As an added incentive..... Ya should a seen the expressions frozen in time on Nolan's face when the video stopped  :2funny: :2funny: :heeha: :heeha: :yippee: :yippee: THEY where priceless O0 O0

Even with the "freeze", I learned a great deal. :thankyou: x 1000!

Regards
Brian

Great class today Nolan I learned a lot.  One of the questions I have is about the 'series'  What is the difference between say 'series 3 vs a series 7'  :thankyou:

thanks for the feedback guys.  O0

Brian we are currently broadcasting on medium quality which we found most are able to watch, but I will see if we can broadcast a lower quality stream at the same time as well - it all depends on if our upload bandwidth can handle it, etc., will let you know O0

Lillian, yes at this point we have just move the Paint Basket TV portion over to the new server, so you will just type in your username into the chatbox

Lynn, different pigments have different costs, so the series 1 will be the cheaper pigments, series 2 will be more expensive, and so on until series 6. It is important to note that the series has nothing to do with the quality of the paint, only the cost of the pigment

Thanks Nolan, I certainly have noticed a difference in price, but am happy to know that it is not about quality.. :)
