I had homework from my Honolulu Museum of Art School class in Watercolors, taught by my good friend and great artist Jimmy Tablante.  We had to do a tonal value, then a watercolor of quite a few simple pictures.  I chose to do the tonals in water-soluable pencils.  Pretty pleased with how they came out (better than my watercolor versions).

I don't think I had a bird in the sky, but I'll add a dark one for you, Nolan.

That cloud across the moon looks a little bird-like... maybe that's what Nolan meant?  :smitten: with the chicken....

 :crazy2:  I thought I was going nuts because I couldn't see the bird in the sky either.  Thank heavens that it was clarified.
