Practicing evergreen trees with online reference photo.  They look easy, but aren’t (for me anyway). ~Liz

Nice composition Liz. Going from advice given me this past few weeks  :) I think the foreground part of the fence, road and tree should be darker.

Pretty scene, Liz.  I think Bill is a fast learner.  He just gave you some good advice.

Brrrr... You conveyed the cold of a winter day.

:)  Liz, I like tha way you have faded out into a misty background in your practice piece and kept the colours down to a minimum. Very effective.
Did you use a fan brush for the trees?

I did my first 'fan-brush' tree to work on with the senior citizens with whom I do support-caring.
( It has been uploaded it to my acrylics gallery.)

The trees look good Liz, especially the closest one on the right.

:thankyou: CATH, VAL, & BILL for your comments.  Sorry but the final painting is now under ACRYLIC.  I posted in the wrong place!

CATH, I used the flat brush for the trees.  The fan brush has to be tamed and won’t cooperate with me (yet), but really I need to practice using it.

BILL, you were right about making the adjustments.   O0 The wintery scene looks enhanced now! :thankyou:  ~Liz
