Maybe I'll do my self-portrait on the crumpled paper since I have so many wrinkles!!

It's a lovely painting, quite professional looking! I can't comment too much on the likeness since the only photo we have to compare it with has fly-away hair and dark glasses. If you do another one, maybe you need to make it a little thinner around the jaw? I've never been brave enough to attempt a self-portrait. These days there isn't much that's either distinctive or attractive to inspire me.  Good idea  Mea/Val ....using the crinkled paper technique might work  for me too.....:2funny: :2funny:

:2funny: :2funny: :2funny:  Oh! Mea, I thought that was so funny. I too, could join you with the wrinkles so may have to look into the crumpled paper technique.

Mea, I had to laugh so much, your humour is too good.  :smitten:
Yes, Linley, there’s too much of fat around the jaws. Thanks for your comment. Why not try with a photo which you liked, need not be a current one?

Gita... do you mean I should paint me as a Young flibbertigibbert? Actually it's not such a bad idea.Maybe our next Challenge should be to do a (flattering) self portrait?
