Scouser Brian and his lovely wife Barbara arrived by cruise ship in Hawaii today.  He got a chance to see some of the art-related sights on Oahu, did some practice paintings in my studio, and got to use Sharon's coasters for our wine glasses.  Then we went to an art reception and he got to meet Liz.

We had fun swapping Paintbasket stories.

Glad you all met up. Great pictures. It's wonderful meeting people that share a common interest, and of course you all know each other from the Forum.
:nosey: Brian.... how did you get your caravan to Hawaii? or have I mixed you up with someone else?

Linley,

You missed my line where I said they arrived by cruise ship.  They did show me photos of their motor home, though.  It's huge!!

Yes, a meet-up with PB Forum people is always a reason for celebration.  Brian and Barbara are wonderful folks.  Liz and I really enjoyed hanging out with them yesterday.

I can't find words to describe what a great time we had. MaryAnne drove us all over the island, Liz presented us with Leis and a pencil sketching kit. MaryAnne gave us some of her art, her husband Earl gave us one of his turned wood pieces. It was great.
Thanks so much, we are sad to be sailing off to our next stop.

Brian and Barbara were delightful guests.  Hope they come back again some time or I meet up with them somewhere in their travels.

Meeting another PB-er is such fun.

Hope some day another one of you will come to visit us.  Liz and I (and Denise when she is available) make a great welcoming committee!

How wonderful to be able to meet up with our fellow Paint Basketers, wish we could all do that at some given time/place. Brian it was lovely putting a face to a name and no doubt, you had a very enjoyable visit with Mea and Liz. Thank you Mea for posting.

Thanks, Patricia and Dennis.

Yes, that is my dream to have all active PBers in one place at one time.
